This is the branch of ayurveda which deals with treatment only through Shodhan (Purification). Panchakarma includes 5 major purification treatments. Vaman (emesis) , Virechana (purgation), Basti (enema), Nasya (nasal drops ), Rakta mokshan ( bloodletting).

- Skin Diseases: Psoriasis, Eczema, Urticaria, etc.

- Kidney Diseases: Chronic Renal Failure, Urinary Stricture, Urinary Tract Infection.

- General diseases: Fever, diabetes (insulin depended and non- depended).

- Neurological condition: Panchakarma has an upper hand in the treatment of neurological diseases like Paralysis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinsonism etc.
